Service Product Manager
As Service Product Manager you are responsible for defining and realizing service programs and service business models for innovative products exceeding service targets and performances.
Your job as a Service Product Manager
With your professional knowledge, enthusiasm and ambition you inspire and build the service strategy, service concepts, service business models and involved processes for your assigned projects and products. You drive your team of Service- and Application Specialists, defining and realizing service deliverables in line with the defined project milestone structure. In this role you liaise and engage with key business stakeholders throughout the entire organization.
You represent Service & Support in multidisciplinary project teams consisting of representatives of Marketing, Strategic Planning, Product Development and Manufacturing. You challenge your colleagues to create forward thinking product market combinations and to realize the introduction of innovative and value adding products.
With your entrepreneurial drive, and strong networking skills you build successful relationships with your internal and external counterparts. You define and develop (customer) service programs, documentation and tools for smooth product introductions and releases in all Canon regions worldwide. Moreover you provide support to exceed service business- and product performance targets. For Canon you are the service specialist for the whole product’s lifecycle. You organize and manage customer feedback loops as well as an effective manner of handling customer complaints.
This position is based in Venlo, the Netherlands. In this role you report to the Director Service & Support. As this position deals mainly with controller- and application software a background in IT or Software is a prerequisite

Who are we looking for?
o University Master level of working and thinking, a degree in relevant field
o About 5 years proven work experience as product manager, project manager/program manager in a B2B organization, preferably in the digital production printing or software industry
o A proactive and forward-thinking approach, initiative, business sensitive, able to develop clear strategies and processes, and getting things done
o Requisite diplomatic/influencing and networking, the ability to interface with and effectively influence an international network of people and partners as well as different cultures, multiple priorities and stakeholder management
o You are business-driven, you have a high-energy ’can do’ attitude and you are an expert in project management
o Excellent communication skills, fluent in English verbal and written.
Service & Support OIP
Within the business unit OIP the team of Service & Support (S&S) is responsible for realizing the service objectives for the VP 6000,VP 135/140 including PrismaSync controller software and the main part of the Prisma application Software suite. Service & Support is therefore involved in the whole process from product development to technical support in the field.
