The NPR department, being part of the procurement department as a whole, is a global department with 6 procurement professionals in Poing, near Munich, and 10 procurement professionals in Venlo.
Your job
In this position you are responsible for the global NPR Procurement. You translate the business strategy in a global NPR procurement strategy.
You will analyse current NPR processes and find synergies to achieve cross-site process harmonization. You Lead, develop and implement procurement processes to optimize TCO, supplier performance and stakeholder management.
As manager you lead and guide the cross-site team. You challenge and inspire your team towards optimal results in terms of procurement efficiency. On individual level you coach your people to get the best out of themselves.
Furthermore an important role will be to Create stakeholder commitment. You collaborate with High demanding stakeholders on departmental management level and (S)VP level cross-sites. You develop highly collaborative business relationships and you Create commitment at all levels within the organization for the procurement program.
As a person you bring strong leadership skills, good listening and influencing skills, and a broad experience in the field of NPR.
The role is based in Venlo, but to be able to lead the team in Poing as well including stakeholder management locally it is estimated that local presence in Poing is crucial. The manager procurement reports to the VP procurement as well as to the CFO and is part of the global procurement management team.
Your Profile
• Master degree with at least 5 years of (NPR)procurement experience
• At least 3 years of managerial experience
• Successful track record of leading complex negotiations
• Experience in leading cross functional teams to deliver
• Strong stakeholder management skills in a matrix environment
• Excellent communication skills in English
