Procurement Account Manager
responsible for defining, maintaining and optimizing a large number of international supply chains. Selecting and developing our suppliers based on Quality, Logistics, Technology and Costs (QLTC) and making sure they meet our high standards.
Department
Global Procurement (± 100 professionals) is divided over four manufacturing and innovation centers worldwide and is responsible for procurement of all product related parts. Our key account management activities are organized worldwide, and part of our Global Procurement department.
Your job as Procurement Account Manager.
As a Procurement Account Manager your challenge is to ensure strong business and supplier relationships, and develop sourcing strategies and supply chains. Within a constantly changing environment you need to be creative to come with the best possible solutions to achieve your goals.
In your role you lead the Supplier Account Team (SAT), consisting of colleagues from Quality ,Supply Chain, and Technology. With your SAT you focus on continuous improvement and you identify and implement improvement opportunities for optimizing TCO.
With your interpersonal skills and enthusiasm you build and maintain successful long term relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders. You are the Supplier Relation Manager for suppliers within your area of responsibility.
This position is based in Venlo, where you collaborate with your procurement colleagues at other Océ sites in Germany, Canada and Singapore. Traveling to other Océ sites and our suppliers is part of the job. In this role you report to the Manager Procurement.
Our ideal Procurement Account Manager
• At least 5 years procurement experience. Relevant experience within Technical Procurement as well as a strong affinity for supply chains, high-tech products and technologie
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills, capable of driving several purchasing projects simultaneously and working under pressure
• Excellent communication skills in English, Dutch preferred
