Supply Chain Engineer, Circular Economy Manufacturing
Energetic and self-motivated entrepreneur, who wants to develop and improve SCM processes and turn them into real positive results.

Your Role as Supply Chain Engineer
Océ develops, produces and distributes high-end printing systems. The Supply chain department for Circular Economy Manufacturing (CEM) is responsible for the handling, returning, organizing and planning to enable a second product life cycle. By development and improvement of the Lean supply chains within this new department, the SCM Engineer ensures timely availability of parts, components and fully remanufactured products. In doing so, we are looking for an enthusiastic driven supply chain engineer, who is energized by the slogan “Used is the better New” and therefore generate a high level of sustainable and profitable growth of Océ in the industry of Circular Economy. Your challenge is to set-up a robust supply chain with maximum material availability against minimum costs.

Your main tasks:
• Identify reuse opportunities for parts and machines.
• Manage return flow of parts and machines to ensure availability but also manage stock levels
• Assist industrial engineering in implementing the repair processes for new parts, modules and machines/products
• Set-up the supply chain for remanufacturing activities (process generation and improvement)
• • Ensuring parts and machines availability
• Contribution in New Product Introductionprojects for supply chain related setups, helping to implement CEM within Océ• Support the operational SCM departments in various manufacturing sites (global) in developing, maintaining and improving processes and systems
• Act as trouble-shooter in the field of logistics in order to avoid disruptions to the CEM production process
• Generating, maintaining, explaining and improving KPIs in the finished goods, semi-finished and raw material environment – focusing on logistical aspects

Furthermore you are expected to:
• lead by example and take initiative when there are process gaps and opportunities
• work on several levels from shop floor to management
• work in close cooperation with planning, procurement and production engineers, as well as with peers from the Business Lines and Regional Sales HQs/National Sales HQs
• know, share and spread (industry)-best practices
• improve the professionalism of the SCM departments

You are based in Venlo, the Netherlands, and you report to the Manufacturing Manager Circular Economy Manufacturing. Occasional traveling to our site in Germany will be expected.

Who are we looking for?
• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management,
• At least 3+ years experience in a similar role within a CEM / regular SCM organization
• Strong analytical skills and proven experience with problem solving
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing
• Knowledge of SAP is mandatory
• Structural, well organized team player
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to build your network enabling you to achieve successful delivery
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. Profound knowledge of Dutch is highly advantageous, German is preferred but not a requirement
• Willingness to travel
